Some of our residential projects have cut into an embankment to form a basement area to which a house was constructed on top. This allowed for the house to be buried under a thick layer of soil, providing exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation. One house was such a success that an expansion was added a few years after construction.

THERMAL PANELS

Thermally insulated panels are a combination of a structural concrete layer, a thermal foam layer and an exterior concrete finish all bound together as a single panel for easy installation. This enhances the insulation of structures that are built above ground, dampening external sounds as well as reducing heating and cooling costs.
